युवकविगोष्ठी
The 52nd Session of the All India Oriental Conference (AIOC 2026) will be held from 29th to 31st October 2026 at the University of Patanjali, in collaboration with the Central Sanskrit University and the Bhāratīya Vidvat Pariṣat. As part of this session, the "Yuva Kavi Goṣṭhi" (युवकविगोष्ठी) will be organised, providing a distinguished platform for young Sanskrit poets to present their original compositions and celebrate the enduring splendour of Sanskrit poetry. All young poets are cordially invited to participate and enrich this literary gathering with their creative voices and poetic excellence.
अखिलभारतीयप्राच्यविद्यापरिषदः द्विपञ्चाशत्तमं सत्रम् (AIOC 2026) २०२६ तमे वर्षे अक्टोबर्-मासस्य २९ तः ३१ दिनाङ्कपर्यन्तं पतञ्जलिविश्वविद्यालयेन स्वपरिसरे आयोज्यते। कार्यक्रमेऽस्मिन् केन्द्रीयसंस्कृतविश्वविद्यालयः तथा भारतीयविद्वत्परिषद् इत्यनयोः संस्थयोः सहयोगः भविष्यति। अस्य सत्रस्य अन्तर्गततया "युवकविगोष्ठी" इति विशिष्टा काव्यगोष्ठी अपि आयोज्यते। इयं युवकविगोष्ठी युवभ्यः संस्कृतकविभ्यः स्वकीयमौलिकरचनानां प्रस्तुत्यै तथा संस्कृतकाव्यस्य चिरन्तनवैभवस्य संवर्धनाय विशिष्टं मञ्चं प्रदास्यति। अस्मिन् साहित्यिकसमागमे सर्वे युवकवयः सादरमामन्त्र्यन्ते। ते स्वकीयाभिः सर्जनात्मकप्रतिभाभिः काव्यप्रस्तुतिभिश्च अस्याः गोष्ठ्याः शोभां वर्धयन्तु।
General Guidelines / सामान्यनिर्देशाः
Language: Sanskrit only.
भाषा: केवलं संस्कृतभाषया एव काव्यपाठः करणीयः।
Eligibility: Young poets between 18 and 40 years of age.
योग्यता: १८ तः ४० वर्षपर्यन्तं वयःसीमायुक्ताः युवाकवयः भागं ग्रहीतुं शक्नुवन्ति।
Duration: 5 to 7 minutes per participant.
समयावधिः: प्रत्येकं प्रतिभागिनः कृते ५-७ निमेषात्मकः समयः प्रदास्यते।
Poem Length: 8 to 12 verses (padyas).
काव्यदीर्घता: ८ तः १२ पद्यानां प्रस्तुतिः अनुमता।
Themes: Kumbha Parva, Description of the Himalayas (Himālaya-varṇanam), National Education Policy (NEP), Global Relevance of Sanskrit, Essence of Yoga, Contemporary Utility of Sanskrit, IKS, etc.
विषयाः: कुम्भपर्व, हिमालयवर्णनम्, राष्ट्रियशिक्षानीतिः, संस्कृतस्य वैश्विकता, योगस्य स्वरूपम्, वर्तमाने संस्कृतस्य उपयोगिता, भारतीयज्ञानपरम्परा (IKS), अन्ये च प्रासङ्गिकविषयाः।
Metre (Chandas): Use of well-known classical Sanskrit metres is mandatory.
छन्दः: सुप्रसिद्धानां शास्त्रीयच्छन्दसां प्रयोगः अनिवार्यः।
Content Policy: Compositions defaming any caste, religion, or individual in any form are strictly prohibited.
विषयनियमः: कस्यापि जातेः, धर्मस्य वा निन्दापराणि तथा व्यक्तीनाम् अपमानजनकानि पद्यानि कदापि न स्वीक्रियन्ते।
Originality: The poem must be an original, self-composed, and unpublished work.
मौलिकता: काव्यं प्रतिभागिना स्वयमेव रचितम् अप्रकाशितं च भवेत्।
Recitation Order: As determined by the organizing committee.
पाठक्रमः: आयोजकैः निर्धारितः क्रमः एव अनुसरणीयः।
Decision: The decision of the organizing committee will be final and binding.
निर्णयः: आयोजकसमित्याः निर्णयः अन्तिमः सर्वमान्यश्च भविष्यति।
Certification: Certificates of presentation will be awarded to all participants.
प्रमाणपत्रम्: सर्वेभ्यः प्रस्तुतिकर्तृभ्यः प्रमाणपत्राणि प्रदास्यन्ते।
Entry Requirements
Pre-registration is mandatory to lock presentation slots.
Approved tongues: Sanskrit, classical Prakrit idioms, and major regional languages.
Selected outstanding poems will be compiled for the peer-reviewed conference volumes.
